Job summary
NVIDIA DGX Cloud seeks Software Engineers with SRE or Production Engineering experience on bare-metal NVIDIA systems. You will build automation for provisioning, validation, upgrades, and lifecycle management across GPU infrastructure to support IaaS BMaaS/VMaaS.
You will work with BMC/Redfish, NVL72 systems, and DPUs in cloud and on-prem environments. Expect on-call duties, incident handling, and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications
- 8+ years building software for or operating production infrastructure.
- Hands-on bare-metal experience with NVIDIA systems.
- Strong Go or Python skills with production automation track record.
- Experience with BMC/Redfish for server provisioning and health checks.
- Experience with Linux, drivers, and server lifecycle management.
- On-call reliability, incident handling, and durable incident resolutions.
- Clear ownership across teams and strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Build automation for bare-metal provisioning, hardware validation, firmware and software upgrades.
- Create tooling using BMC/Redfish to assess health, regulate server state, and recovery workflows.
- Manage NVIDIA NVL72 systems and BlueField-3 DPUs in cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Diagnose failures across servers, DPUs, GPUs, networks, Linux, and Kubernetes; automate fixes.
- Define validation criteria to ensure safe, consistent production capacity entry.
- Participate in on-call, incident response, root-cause analysis, and permanent resolutions.
