Job summary

Messerli Kramer P.A. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, seeks a Senior Associate or Lateral Attorney to join its Banking Practice Group. The role focuses on commercial banking transactions, including loan documentation, due diligence, and related regulatory considerations.

A strong book of business is appreciated but not required. The ideal candidate has seven plus years of substantive experience in commercial banking, real estate and asset-based lending, with construction lending and affordable housing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of substantive experience in commercial banking transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation.
• Due diligence review including real estate and asset-based lending.
• Experience in construction lending and affordable housing tax credit lending preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in MN.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex financial transactions and structure loans.
