Moses & Singer LLP, a mid-sized New York City law firm, is seeking an Associate with 4-6 years of banking and finance experience to join its growing practice. The role involves representing lenders and borrowers on sophisticated transactions and improving cross-border financing matters.

Candidates with a general corporate background who want to expand into banking and finance are encouraged to apply. Base salary ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York Bar.
• 4-6 years of relevant law firm experience in banking and finance.
• Banking/finance experience preferred; strong corporate background considered.
• Familiarity with letters of credit, trade finance or fund finance advantageous.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills; AI tools helpful.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advise lenders and borrowers in financing transactions.
• Structure, negotiate, document, and close domestic and international transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit and related security documents.
• Analyze issues under the UCC and Bankruptcy Code.
