Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of bacterial genetics and genome editing for industrial protein production.
• Experience in heterologous protein expression and working with industrial isolates.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test bacterial strains using genetic engineering tools.
• Link genotype to phenotype using NGS data to improve protein expression.
• Collaborate with fermentation and assay teams to optimize production.
• Deliver improved strains and milestones through a gated development process.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and engage with partners.
