Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python) for an on-site role in Annapolis Junction, MD. Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph is required.

You will focus on backend Python development, support the UI team, and assist the move to cloud capabilities. Salary ranges $210,000–$220,000; full-time with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires 14 years of software engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with substitution option for 4 years of experience.
• Backend work experience and Python proficiency.
• Ability to transition to cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the UI team with backend development.
• Develop and maintain Python-based services.
• Assist in deploying and migrating to cloud capabilities.

Salary: $210,000 - $220,000 annually
