Job summary

Inviso is assisting a global software client by recruiting a Backend / Platform Engineer for a fully remote, direct-hire role. You will help design, build, and operate the core services powering an enterprise AI platform, including gateway, orchestration, entitlements, tenancy, data access patterns, and APIs.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with production backend services, distributed systems, APIs, and platform-level design, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and client-facing

Qualifications

• Production backend experience building and operating services.
• Strong software engineering skills for reliable, testable, maintainable services.
• Experience with AI gateway, orchestration, entitlements, tenancy, metering, quotas, or similar platform capabilities.
• Ability to design APIs and developer experiences for internal and external consumers.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems, tenant isolation, service boundaries, and platform-level enforcement patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core backend/ platform services end to end.
• Contribute to API design, orchestration, and platform APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Own services through design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
