Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Backend software developer with backend focus.
• Experience in data engineering and API development.
• Proficiency with Python and FastAPI.
• Designing and managing PostgreSQL databases with efficient SQL and indexing.
• Elasticsearch proficiency.
• Experience building high-performance API connections for mission-critical data systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, large data sets, real-time systems, and MIS per requirements.
• Provide input on component design including trade-offs and requirements synthesis.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications or perform software engineering tasks.
• Use appropriate software engineering methodologies for development, integration, and production.
• Ensure efficient delivery of software capabilities using standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance on large-scale projects.
• Review and test software components and document test results.
