Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment partners with a high-growth technology company to appoint a Senior Software Engineer who will help design and scale core backend services powering a large-scale consumer platform.

You will work in a cloud-native, microservices environment using Python, Go, or C#/.NET, collaborate with product and design teams, and champion performance, reliability, and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Production-grade software experience in fast-paced product environments.
• Backend experience with Python, Go, or C#/.NET; API and distributed systems design.
• Cloud-native expertise, preferably AWS; containerized microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs that power a high-traffic consumer platform.
• Contribute to a modern microservices-based architecture running in a cloud-native environment.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful product features.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Help scale systems to support growing user demand and evolving business needs.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to engineering tools, architecture, and development workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.
