Job summary

Feedinkoo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Backend to join their Engineering team. The successful candidate will build, scale, and ship technology for a large-scale product suite using Java, Python, MySQL, and AWS.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and mentoring of junior engineers, along with opportunities for professional development through workshops and strategic planning discussions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and supporting software in production.
• 3+ years of experience programming in object-oriented languages like Java or Python.
• Preferred: 3+ years building scalable, distributed backend services.
• Preferred: 3+ years working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, ship, and monitor our platform using Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, Hbase, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver feature work.
• Mentor other engineers through knowledge sharing and PR feedback.
