Constructor.io is building the next-generation ecommerce search and discovery platform and is hiring a backend engineer to own production Python services, data-heavy systems, and reliable delivery.

You will work on scalable backend components, write tests, perform code reviews, and help ship maintainable software in a fully remote team. Base salary is substantial with stock options and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and owning production backend services in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence with data-heavy systems (analytics, metrics, logging).
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems.
• Ability to ship maintainable software (tests, code review, incremental delivery).
