Job summary

BizFlow is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to own enterprise integrations, connect BizFlow applications to customer systems, and mentor the development team.

You will write Java code daily, build REST/SOAP services, and lead design reviews while collaborating with frontend, analysts, and project leadership.

On-site in Falls Church with partial telework, the role offers a path to influence a modernization program and technical direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Experience building production integrations via REST and SOAP.
• Mentoring or leading developers and code reviews.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database tuning.
• Ability to learn BizFlow platform quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations with customer systems.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP services with JSON/XML.
• Mentor the team and set technical direction.
• Collaborate with front-end, analysts, and project leadership.
• Drive tests, deployments, and production support.
