Qualifications

• Experience designing and building backend systems and microservices with Go or Java.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and gRPC APIs and design best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservice patterns.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability experience.
• Familiarity with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT.
• Secure coding and GDPR/SOC 2 awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust backend microservices and APIs.
• Own key service domains, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with long-term strategy.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into milestones.
• Optimize infrastructure and runtime costs for a seamless player experience.
• Drive refactoring and modernization to reduce technical debt.
