Job summary

Cranium AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable, multi-tenant backend services on Azure and other clouds. You will collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and customer success to deliver robust security and governance features for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core in production environments.
• Strong experience with Python for production application development.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP equally valued).
• Experience developing software with AI-assisted workflows and code generation tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable multi-tenant platform services and APIs within Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Work with machine learning engineers and product managers to develop backend services that power our AI security features.
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies.
• Contribute to database design and optimization for high-volume enterprise workloads.
• Leverage AI-assisted development workflows and code generation tools to build enterprise-grade software.
• Support customers through technical issues, escalations, and feature requests in collaboration with the customer success team.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality adheres to best practices.
• Balance new feature development with platform maintenance and refactoring efforts.
