Backend engineers design, build, operate, and maintain the various cloud services that power Hinge. You’ll solve complex technical challenges and own a significant portion of the software stack that allows millions of users to find meaningful connections. You’ll write high-quality code, design reliable systems, and operate the software that you build by taking part in on‑call. As a backend engineer, you’ll also be part of a diverse cross‑functional team that includes partners in Product, Data Science, ML, iOS, Android, and Data Engineering. You’ll have a hand in defining and implementing your team's technical strategy.
$186,000.00 - $223,000.00 per year salary. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
