Job summary

ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC seeks a skilled Back-End Engineer with a strong data-engineering background to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and back-end systems. You will work with large datasets, leverage cloud technologies, and collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to deliver data-driven solutions.

This role is available in the United States and India, with the Elk Grove, CA area serving as a primary location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of back-end development with a data engineering focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Spark, Python, Scala, and Java.
• Write efficient SQL for ETL processes and data extraction.
• Work with DataFrames to manipulate large datasets.
• Implement cloud data storage/processing using AWS or GCP.
• Build real-time data streaming pipelines with MSK/Kafka.
• Utilize S3 for storage and Iceberg for data lake tech.
• Ensure data quality, security, and collaborate with data scientists.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and back-end systems.
