Coupang is seeking an experienced engineering leader for its Pricing team in Mountain View, CA. You will architect and implement next-generation pricing determination platforms, shaping architecture and practices across global engineering groups.

With 8+ years in software design and strong distributed systems expertise, you will partner with product owners to solve complex problems, drive roadmaps, and ensure robust, scalable systems that serve tens of millions of users daily.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software design and development.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on engineering leader with deep expertise in open-source technologies and distributed systems.
• Design layered applications and drive high-quality architecture for pricing systems.
• Partner with Product Owners to understand problems and lead engineers on critical projects.
• Define roadmaps and technical vision to scale pricing platforms for growth.
• Collaborate with other teams to build extensible services.
