Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficient in Java; working proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Understanding of microservices fundamentals.
• Familiarity with HL7 FHIR or FHIR resource modeling.
• Experience with unit, integration, and contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed services focusing on backend API lifecycle.
• Configure and manage Kong Gateway with YAML.
• Develop backend integrations with downstream systems.
• Manage the API lifecycle including design and automated testing.
