Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a Senior Back-End Python Engineer for a 12-month contract in New Jersey. You will design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems with modern Python tech and diverse databases and caching solutions.

Responsibilities include building high-performance Python services, APIs with FastAPI/Django/Flask, async patterns, ORM with Pydantic/SQLAlchemy, and optimizing queries. NoSQL, Redis/Memcached, Celery, and typing practices are key.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python 3.x.
• Strong experience with asynchronous Python programming (Asyncio, Trio).
• Demonstrated expertise with type hinting and static type checking (Mypy, typing).
• Production experience with FastAPI, Django/Django REST Framework, or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with Pydantic and SQLAlchemy.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience implementing caching solutions with Redis and/or Memcached.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Celery or similar task queue systems.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize SQL queries and database performance.
