Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience implementing Kafka-based architectures or Kafka concepts.
• Proficient Python programming for production-grade code.
• Familiarity with Azure Event Hub and related services (Functions, Data Factory, Service Bus).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Azure DevOps, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain app-to-app integration pipelines using Azure Event Hub.
• Apply Kafka concepts to Event Hub's Kafka-compatible interface.
• Develop and optimize producer/consumer applications in Python.
• Collaborate across Azure services to create reliable, scalable integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot latency, throughput, and reliability in real-time streaming pipelines.
• Define integration contracts, schemas, and event standards with application teams.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and error-handling for event-driven systems.
