Job description

Job Description: Primary Work Objectives

MHAS is seeking a skilled Solution Architect/Senior Developer to refactor an existing custom .NET/C# Human Resources software suite hosted on Azure to meet the needs of our Agency and constituents.

In addition to the technical proficiencies listed, the selected candidate should demonstrate the ability to work directly with Human Resource professionals, understand basic HR terminology and business functions, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with project sponsors.

While prior experience with HR applications or processes is not mandatory, it is preferred. Experience with interfacing with Ohio’s ERP (OAKS) is also advantageous.

The candidate should be comfortable working on Azure projects, well-versed in deploying code using Azure pipelines, and possess functional knowledge of Azure Functions.

The role involves working with IT Architecture staff and IT Managers to design solutions that meet agency requirements, analyzing the business case for solution designs, and developing applications according to department standards.

Responsibilities also include creating detailed test plans, preparing test data, executing test scripts, debugging, tracking defects, supporting user acceptance testing, and handling software implementation and deployment tasks.
