Berlin Packaging is seeking a Senior DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer to lead hands-on CI/CD and IaC efforts across .NET, React, and Next.js frontends. You will design pipelines, manage Azure infrastructure, and ensure reliable, observable platforms in production.

Collaboration with global teams is essential to raise engineering and operational standards from day one. The role emphasizes SRE practices, security, and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate automation while maintaining governance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or related experience.
• Proven experience creating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines end-to-end: multi-stage YAML, reusable templates, environments, approvals, gates, agents, service connections, artifacts, and deployment strategies.
• Strong Git experience with Azure Repos and/or GitHub; GitHub Actions experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying React and Next.js applications, including Node.js/npm/pnpm builds, static export, SSR/ISR, and hybrid rendering, plus .NET / ASP.NET Core web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines from scratch with multi-stage YAML, templates, environments, and gates.
• Create build and release pipelines for .NET/ASP.NET Core, React SPA, and Next.js apps including SSR/ISR and hybrid rendering.
• Deploy and operate Azure Static Web Apps with custom domains, staging environments, APIs, and authentication.
• Host Next.js SSR workloads on App Service, Container Apps, or AKS with caching and CDN delivery.
• Create IaC with Terraform for Azure, including modules, remote state, environment promotion, drift detection, and policy enforcement.
• Automate Azure API Management deployments and configurations (APIOps).
• Develop MuleSoft deployments on CloudHub 2.0 with Maven CI, MUnit, and Runtime Manager.
