Job summary

Poppulo is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to own and improve production cloud infrastructure. You will partner with development teams to embed DevOps best practices, design CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and manage Azure environments with IaC.

You will enable observability, security controls, and incident response, with exposure to AI-driven automation. This is Ireland-based remote role offering EUR base pay with variable incentives and strong learning culture.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering with senior-level cloud infra ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep Azure expertise across compute, networking, storage, and Entra ID.
• Strong CI/CD engineering experience and IaC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• DevOps integration: collaborate with development to automate controls and improve operations.
• Pipeline development: design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Cloud infrastructure: manage Azure infra using IaC (Terraform preferred).
• Observability: implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health.
• Security integration: embed security across pipelines, including vulnerability scans.
• Incident response: participate in RCAs and preventative actions.
• Compliance: support GDPR, ISO 27001 through controls and access management.
• Collaboration: guide development teams on DevOps tooling and workflows.
• AI innovation: explore AI-driven tooling to boost automation and efficiency.
