Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer in Durham, NC seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer III to lead Azure CI/CD and IaC efforts. You will own pipelines, Bicep module architecture, and cross-team initiatives with a focus on scalable, secure DevOps practices.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, SRE mindset, and the ability to mentor teams while driving continuous improvement and architectural governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with enterprise Azure experience across multiple subscriptions.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, multi-stage pipelines, and reusable templates.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash; Python is a plus.
• Ability to work with AI coding assistants while applying judgment and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure DevOps pipelines and Bicep modules; establish patterns and scalable standards.
• Lead cross-team initiatives, architect pipelines, and environment topologies.
• Drive DORA metrics improvements and implement shift-left security with IaC tooling.
• Mentor developers, run post-incident reviews, and support on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate platform constraints into patterns.
