Job summary

Sharpedge Solutions Inc. in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an Associate Staff DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable DevOps solutions for cloud-based applications.

You will craft CI/CD pipelines, manage code repositories, and build release automation across Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, while provisioning robust Azure infrastructure. The role demands deep Azure expertise and strong scripting skills for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with source code management systems (GitHub, Azure Repos).
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Proven expertise in build and release automation processes.
• Solid experience in Azure cloud platform, including AKS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Service Bus, Redis, AD B2C, APIM.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Drive best practices for DevOps processes, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories and branching strategies using tools like GitHub and Azure Repos.
• Build and maintain release automation workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
