Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in the Azure cloud. You will work on enterprise data applications, integrations, and pipelines, collaborating with architects, analysts, and data scientists to deliver data products end-to-end.

The role requires strong SQL and coding skills (Python or Scala), expertise with Databricks, and hands-on experience across the Azure stack, including Synapse, Power BI, and ML services.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
• Practical experience with data modelling and data-driven KPIs.
• Experience with ETL/ERP technologies such as Informatica, IICS, Cognos, Netezza, or similar.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Power BI, Azure ML, or similar analytics platforms.
• Experience with data integration, data pipelines, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and optimize data solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Build and support enterprise data applications, integrations, and pipelines.
• Design and review technical/data-flow solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and data scientists on data products.
• Perform code reviews, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Optimize complex data solutions and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain technical documentation for downstream integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve data platforms, processes, and technologies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum and Sprint activities.
