ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer (SAP SuccessFactors Focus) in Charlotte, NC on a hybrid schedule. The contract runs 10/19/2026 through 3/27/2027 with high likelihood of extensions; W2 only.
You will design end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, Databricks, ADLS, and SQL, integrating SAP SuccessFactors data via OData and Compound Employee APIs to power enterprise analytics.

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with deep expertise in building scalable enterprise data pipelines, modern data architectures, and API integrations. A primary focus of this role is extracting, transforming, and ingesting HR and organizational data from SAP SuccessFactors into an Azure Databricks platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (PySpark), ADLS, and SQL , working directly with SAP SuccessFactors APIs (OData, Compound Employee) to power downstream enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
Data Pipeline Architecture & Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines within Microsoft Azure to support enterprise data platform initiatives.
SAP SuccessFactors Integration: Develop automated data ingestion pipelines extracting HR, organizational, compensation, job, recruiting, and performance data from SAP SuccessFactors into Azure Databricks .
API Ingestion & Orchestration: Leverage SAP SuccessFactors OData APIs, Compound Employee APIs , and related integration mechanisms, using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration, scheduling, and pipeline management.
Data Transformation & Processing: Build data processing and transformation solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and advanced SQL .
Storage & Data Modeling: Manage enterprise data within Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure-based data platforms, building data models, stored procedures, and incremental/full-load extraction strategies.
Data Quality & Governance: Implement robust data validation, reconciliation, error-handling, and performance tuning across all integration workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR business analysts and technical stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into production-grade engineering solutions.
Core Azure Stack: Proven track record as an Azure Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and complex SQL .
SAP SuccessFactors API Ingestion (Required): Hands-on experience pulling and processing data from SAP SuccessFactors using OData APIs, Compound Employee APIs , or API-based integration patterns directly into Databricks/Azure architectures.
Big Data & Scripting: Strong proficiency with PySpark and Python for data transformation and distributed processing within Databricks.
Pipeline Design: Strong background designing efficient incremental load, delta lake, and full-load extraction strategies ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with technical architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
High-Impact Project: Lead a business-critical data integration initiative connecting enterprise HR systems with modern cloud analytics platforms.
Long-Term Stability: Initial contract running through March 2027 with strong potential for multi-year extensions.
