Akraya, Inc. is hiring a data engineer in San Jose, CA for a 12+ month W2 contract. You will design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines ingesting customer feedback and social data, with emphasis on Azure services, Databricks, PySpark, and cost-aware operations.

You will own end-to-end data processing workloads, implement data quality and monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and observability.

Formación

• Microsoft Azure platform expertise.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with building and operating data pipelines.
• Domain experience in VoC or similar customer feedback data management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Construct and manage ETL/ELT processes for various data sources.
• Develop and optimize data processing jobs using Databricks and Python/PySpark.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms.
• Manage and enhance Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Automate deployments and improve platform observability.
