Job summary

Axiom Path, Inc. is seeking a senior Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data ingestion pipelines within a centralized cybersecurity data environment.

You will integrate DSPM, DLP, and other security data sources using Azure services, collaborating with cybersecurity, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology or data engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Strong SQL and data transformation capabilities.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Spark-based processing.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources into centralized analytical environments.
• Understanding of data governance, data security, access controls, and compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based data ingestion pipelines supporting an enterprise cybersecurity data lakehouse.
• Integrate DSPM, DLP, and other information-security data sources into a centralized cybersecurity data environment.
• Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and related Azure services.
• Work closely with data owners, information protection teams, and security engineering groups to translate technical requirements into reliable ingestion solutions.
• Serve as a technical liaison across cybersecurity and data teams to resolve data integration issues and maintain delivery alignment.
• Support data quality, security, governance, and compliance requirements throughout the ingestion lifecycle.
• Provide timely updates on development work, dependencies, blockers, and deliverables within the team’s sprint schedule.
• Follow enterprise SDLC, Agile development, testing, and deployment standards.

• Work on a high-visibility cybersecurity data initiative focused on centralizing Data Security Posture Management and Data Loss Prevention information.

Do You Bring Proven Success In Azure Data Engineering And Enterprise Data Pipelines?

• 10+ years of overall technology or data engineering experience, with substantial recent experience building enterprise data solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing data pipelines in Microsoft Azure.
• Advanced experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure Databricks and Spark-based data processing.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and enterprise data lake or lakehouse architectures.
• Strong SQL and data transformation capabilities.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources into centralized analytical environments.
• Understanding of data governance, data security, access controls, and compliance considerations.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders across data, engineering, and cybersecurity teams.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments and enterprise SDLC processes.
• Cybersecurity, DLP, DSPM, or security-data experience is highly valuable.
• Azure data engineering certifications are preferred.
