Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC, the oil & gas exploration and production subsidiary of National Fuel Gas Company, seeks a Software Developer to join our IT team in the United States. The role designs, builds, and supports custom software solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

You will collaborate with end users and IT colleagues, implement CI/CD, work with Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform, and follow secure development practices to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including cloud-based solutions.
• Experience building cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure with IaC (Bicep or Terraform).
• Experience with modern software delivery practices: Git, CI/CD, automated builds/tests, release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support new and existing custom software solutions and applications
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across custom software solutions, integrations, and cloud services
• Collaborate with end users and IT to define requirements, specs, acceptance criteria, and priorities
• Develop, maintain, and deploy software using Git-based workflows and Azure DevOps/GitHub
• Work with enterprise data stored in Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint Online
• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure development practices
• Support Power Platform solutions (Power Apps/Power Automate)
• Follow secure development, data governance, and Responsible AI practices
