Job summary

West 4th Strategy is seeking a Senior Azure Application Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications for the United States Capitol Police. You will work with Azure App Service, Functions and SQL Managed Instance to deliver scalable, secure solutions and RESTful APIs integrated with enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, IaC, and security best practices, with mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Azure-native architecture and modern design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in a federal or law enforcement environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Azure App Service, Functions and SQL Managed Instance.
• Develop scalable, serverless and event-driven solutions in C#/.NET using Service Bus, Event Grid and Logic Apps.
• Design, build and secure RESTful APIs and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Lead technical design decisions and apply modern application design patterns and Azure-native architecture.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to automate build, test and deployment.
