Job summary
NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Azure Architect / DevOps Engineer for a remote, home-office based role in the United States. You will design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on automation and IaC, driving innovation and operational excellence across a global team.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Azure/DevOps experience, expert Azure skills, and strong scripting and IaC capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Azure Architect/DevOps Engineer.
- Experience designing and operating Azure cloud infrastructures.
- Expert level skills with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
- High level of skill with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- IaC using Terraform or ARM templates.
- Solid understanding of network architectures (VPN, routing, firewall).
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing an Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Identify appropriate Azure operational best practices and architectural design.
- Perform performance and capacity analyses.
- Implement cost controls and cost optimization measures.
- Automate tasks via scripting and automation tools.
- Ensure security and compliance with Azure policies.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Provide troubleshooting for infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize performance.
- Document Azure configurations and scripts.
- Mentor other IT team members.
