Job summary

CDW is seeking a Principal AWS Consultant to lead design and engineering activities on AWS projects. You will guide delivery teams, align best practices, and upskill engineers across global CDW projects.

Expect to drive automation, DevOps pipelines, and IaC implementations while mentoring engineers and supporting pre-sales for large cloud engagements. Willingness to travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT Infrastructure or related field.
10+ years IT Infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in large enterprise consulting.
Strong leadership and advisory capabilities on technical matters and architecture.

Responsibilities

Deliver professional services for CDW customers globally on major public cloud platforms.
Oversee multiple projects to ensure aligned delivery and broad visibility.
Collaborate with CDW consulting groups for cohesive technical solution approaches.
Lead technical deployment engineering with customers on workload design for major public cloud vendors.
Provide workshops and training events for customers and industry leaders on Public Cloud technologies.
Mentor engineers and architects in Cloud and DevOps projects.
Support Presales architects on large deals and validate consulting estimates.
Drive automation and IaC initiatives using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
