Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer to drive GrantSolutions platform modernization in an AWS environment.

The role builds cloud engineering, automation, deployment, security, and operational capabilities for scalable software delivery. You will establish AWS patterns, DevSecOps services, pipelines, and automations across teams and vendors while maintaining legacy systems during transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, and Systems Manager.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud platform engineering, CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, security integration, environment management, release enablement, observability, and operational readiness.
• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities to support large‑scale modernization.
• Implement and maintain modern DevSecOps practices with secure CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar tools.
• Support cloud‑native delivery patterns, including containers, serverless, managed databases, and IAM.
