We are currently seeking a Senior AWS Integration Developer - Remote to join our team in McKinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Senior AWS Integration Developer
Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior AWS Integration Developer to design, develop, and support modern, enterprise-scale integration solutions across cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications.

This is a hands-on development role for an experienced integration engineer who is passionate about AWS, serverless architecture, APIs, event-driven integration, and modern software development. You will work with technologies including Python, C#/.NET, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch to build secure, scalable, and highly reliable integration services.

The successful candidate will bring strong software engineering fundamentals, experience solving complex integration challenges, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, developers, business analysts, and application teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions using Python and C#/.NET.
  • Build serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.
  • Design and develop REST APIs, microservices, and integration services connecting cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications.
  • Develop reliable, scalable workflows for data movement, application integration, orchestration, and business process automation.
  • Integrate enterprise applications and business platforms through secure, well-designed APIs and services.
  • Apply software engineering best practices around code quality, security, scalability, resiliency, observability, and performance.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting using Amazon CloudWatch and related AWS services.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex integration, application, and production issues.
  • Optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and help identify opportunities to modernize legacy integration patterns.
  • Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers and contribute to development standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional software development and integration experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and C#/.NET development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS development experience, including significant experience with:
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS Step Functions
  • API Gateway

  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Demonstrated experience building serverless and event-driven integration solutions.
  • Experience integrating cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, API design, asynchronous messaging, workflow orchestration, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar software development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate/Professional or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional certification.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, IAM, and enterprise security practices.
  • Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
  • Experience modernizing legacy integrations into cloud-native and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms, messaging systems, or API management solutions.

Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $92,408-$171,125. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
