Job summary

Coforge in Fort Mill, SC is hiring an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and manage scalable AWS infrastructure with a focus on EC2 and IaC using Terraform. The role includes building Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and ensuring high availability of production environments.

You will mentor junior engineers, optimize costs, monitor performance with CloudWatch/ELK, and stay current with AWS services. 7-10 years IT experience and 4+ years AWS infra experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of IT experience with cloud infrastructure.
• 4+ years hands-on AWS Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS EC2 and Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for container management.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure with emphasis on EC2.
• Utilize Terraform for IaC to automate provisioning of resources.
• Implement and manage EKS clusters for container orchestration.
• Collaborate to define and implement cloud security best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infra for cost efficiency and reliability.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and stay updated with cloud tech.
