Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer to join a team supporting enterprise applications. This hands-on role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting scalable web solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS.

You will develop and maintain full-stack apps, build cloud-native services, work with AWS components, implement APIs and microservices, and leverage GenAI tools to improve productivity within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
• Hands-on Java and Spring Boot development.
• Front-end development with Angular.
• Python development for applications, automation, or AI use cases.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and operations.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Practical experience using GenAI/AI development tools in daily development.
• Understanding of LLMs and agent-based workflows in software development.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Git-based development, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of development initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including mentoring.
• Financial services or large enterprise application experience a plus.

• . Practical experience using GenAI/AI development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools, as part of day to day software development.
• . Understanding of LLMs, LLM APIs, and agentic/agent based workflows, with experience applying them to software development or application capabilities.
• . Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git based development, and modern DevOps practices.
• . Strong understanding of unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and software engineering best practices.
• . Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and take ownership of development initiatives.
• . Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor junior engineers.
• . Financial services or other large enterprise application experience is a plus.
