Valiant Technologies LLC seeks a Senior AWS DevOps/SRE Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, build, and operate highly available cloud environments on AWS. You will improve reliability, automate operations, and drive scalable infrastructure using IaC and modern DevOps practices.

You will manage Kubernetes clusters, Linux administration, Python automation, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers, security teams, and IT operations to meet SLOs and ensure robust disaster

• 8+ years of IT experience with cloud/infrastructure focus.
• Strong hands-on AWS expertise and DevOps/SRE background.
• Proven Kubernetes experience and Linux administration skills.
• Proficient in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and IaC implementations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop DevOps/SRE practices focused on reliability, scalability, automation, and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps / SRE Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and Python automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining highly available, scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments while improving system reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain DevOps/SRE practices focused on reliability, scalability, automation, and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems in production environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity using observability and monitoring tools.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices for security, networking, access management, and cloud governance.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve deployment speed and system reliability.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, security teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Establish and improve SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, alerting, and reliability metrics.
• Support production releases, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and business continuity initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience
• Strong experience with Kubernetes
• Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Strong Python scripting/automation skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong production troubleshooting and incident management experience
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability

Preferred Skills:

• Terraform / CloudFormation
• Docker / containerization
• Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or similar monitoring tools
