Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior AWS Software Data Engineer to join the DASH team in Hazelwood, MO. You will design, build, and scale AWS data services, govern data pipelines, and support analytics for Boeing Global Services.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Owners, and Data Team to migrate and scale data intake, storage, and delivery, while ensuring robust architecture and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 8+ years of experience with Data Engineering and/or Software Development.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and integrating big data platforms.
• 5+ years designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 3+ years deploying and managing distributed systems on at least one cloud platform.
• 3+ years with APIs for data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development, test, and maintenance of cloud data solutions end-to-end.
• Leads translation of customer requirements into software data product designs.
• Coordinates development, maintenance, and optimization of software data products for systems integrations.
• Leads documentation of architectures, requirements, and designs for software data products.
• Debugs and resolves issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software data products.
• Leads R&D of current and emerging technologies, tools, and regulations.
• Leads development and monitoring of software data processes and KPIs.
• Guides data and analytics professionals on best practices and data standards.
