Job summary

A technology services firm is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer in New York City. This hybrid role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable data solutions, utilizing AWS services for ETL development. Ideal candidates have strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer, proficient in AWS Glue, Python, and CI/CD pipelines. The position offers a competitive compensation of $50.00 - $55.00 per hour with flexible work options available.

Qualifications

Strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer.
Hands-on expertise with AWS Glue.
Advanced Python programming skills.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift.
Proven ETL development experience.
Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment (NYC).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS services.
Build and manage data workflows using AWS Glue and Python.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions.
Work with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift for data storage and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across pipelines.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and production support.
