Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Chicago seeks a Senior ETL Developer with hands-on AWS, Python, PySpark and SQL to design and maintain enterprise data pipelines.

You will build scalable ETL workflows, optimize performance across Redshift, S3, Lambda and Step Functions, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and ensure robust data solutions. Strong troubleshooting and production-support skills are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ETL development and data integration experience.
• 6+ years writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• 3–4 years Python / PySpark with large-scale datasets.
• 3–4 years AWS Cloud experience including Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, and more.
• 3+ years Big Data processing and scalable data architectures.
• Hands-on DevOps / CI/CD with Harness, YAML, and CloudFormation.
• Strong database troubleshooting and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise-scale ETL pipelines.
• Build scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Develop complex SQL queries and data transformation workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Provide production support and root cause analysis.
• Maintain coding standards and technical documentation.
• Perform data cleansing, profiling, and workflow scheduling.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and performance issues.
