Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking an experienced AWS Data Solution Architect to lead the design, modernization, and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data platforms. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to define data strategies and execution roadmaps.

You will drive end-to-end architecture, establish standards, and guide migrations to lakehouse architectures leveraging Snowflake and Iceberg, with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in data architecture and data engineering roles.
• Proven experience as an AWS Data Solution Architect.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS data services.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics platforms.
• Experience modernizing large-scale, complex data environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise data platforms on AWS.
• Drive data modernization strategies and cloud-native migrations.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance with data engineering teams.
• Establish data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Design scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Develop roadmaps aligned with business and data strategy.
• Serve as trusted advisor to business and technology leadership.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and DevOps for compliant, secure solutions.
