Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Computer Systems Analyst – Cloud Platform / Landing Zone Engineer (AWS) to lead the design and implementation of secured, air-gapped AWS multi-account environments for Secret-level workloads.

The role requires on-site work at Redondo Beach, Rolling Meadows, or Melbourne, with 10% travel. You will build declarative IaC templates (CloudFormation, Terraform, OpenTofu), manage AVMs, and ensure compliance with DISA/NIST standards while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux servers in cloud/on-prem environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments.
• Must be able to obtain a US government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of the AWS multi-account landing zones and cloud platform architecture.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code templates (CloudFormation, Terraform, OpenTofu).
• Define, implement, and enforce security standards, including SCPs and IAM guardrails for classified workloads.
• Coordinate with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to meet mission needs.
• Mentor junior and senior team members to strengthen capabilities.
• Oversee operational readiness and incident response for cloud environments.
