PLACE is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Bethesda, MD, to architect and govern an enterprise AWS platform. You will lead CI/CD and automation strategies, drive security and cost optimization, and partner with executives to set technical standards that scale across engineering teams.

The role blends hands-on cloud engineering with mentorship, architecture governance, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, API Gateway) in production.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and multi-region DR planning.
• Strong security and cost optimization mindset; integrate IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager.

• Design and maintain enterprise AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Develop reusable modules and optimize costs.
• Build and govern CI/CD pipelines.
• Design load-testing and auto-scaling validation.
• Implement security controls per enterprise standards.
• Establish API gateway governance and WAF policies.
• Implement observability with CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews.
