Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure in the Dallas area.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS services, IaC, CI/CD, containers, Linux/Windows administration, monitoring, security, cloud migration, and cost optimization, and offers collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Expertise in EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda.
• Strong experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Linux and Windows administration.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, identity management, and governance.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Implement configuration management with Ansible.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization with CloudWatch.
• Drive cloud security, compliance, identity management, and governance.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Implement networking, security, high availability, backup and disaster recovery.
• Optimize AWS spend via rightsizing, Savings Plans, FinOps.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infra and provide production support.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support requirements.
