Leading Path Consulting in Chantilly, VA is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and implement cloud-based solutions in a production environment. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS engineering, automation, and secure, scalable infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud tooling, PKI, and network configurations.

The candidate should translate requirements into actionable plans, work with cross-functional teams, and minimize manual operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience (VPCs, subnets, route tables, gateways).
Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Strong automation and configuration management mindset; proficiency with PKI and networking.

Responsibilities

Translate high-level requirements into detailed plans and implement cloud solutions independently.
Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, secure AWS-based cloud infrastructure and tooling.
Collaborate with non-cloud teams to migrate apps to Cloud and DevOps practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to secure and administer cloud environments in a repeatable way.
Troubleshoot PKI, networking, proxy-related issues; reduce manual operations via automation.
