Job summary

Metrea in Tampa, Florida is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform routine avionics maintenance including testing, removal, and replacement of components in compliance with FAA regulations. The position requires strong understanding of technical manuals and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience with aircraft structures and systems, along with a High School Diploma or GED, and an A&P Certificate is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Aircraft Structures Experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Aircraft Systems.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repair of avionics systems as per FAA regulations.
• Execute wiring tasks including installation and pinning of avionics systems.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure operational readiness.
• Work independently on routine maintenance tasks.
• Install new avionics equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
