Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Senior Avionic Technician in Miami to perform complex inspections, tests, troubleshooting and repairs on customer returned equipment. You will assist in developing repair procedures to support product improvements.

Responsibilities include complex testing and repair, data-driven diagnostics, adherence to schematics and customer requirements, and maintaining safety with a focus on lean improvement and daily calibration.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
• 5–7 years of related experience is required.
• Able to work independently with no supervisory guidance.
• Demonstrate a broad and comprehensive understanding of a varied complex electronic and mechanical systems.
• Possess extensive historical knowledge of product and process situations that are normally encountered.
• Able to set up test fixtures independently and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex tests, overhaul/repairs on customer assemblies utilizing electro-mechanical skills.
• Act as a Lead in complex inspection, testing, troubleshooting and repair of products.
• High interaction with supervisors and management.
• Performs diagnostics, teardown, repair and rebuilding of products, according to approved data and customer's requirements.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, implementation of engineering orders, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
• Observes all safety rules and maintains FOD free work areas.
