Job summary

Natilus Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks an Avionics and Electrical Engineer to design and integrate aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including architecture, grounding, and power distribution. You will support system integration and work cross-functionally with engineering teams to meet stringent requirements.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience, a relevant degree, and hands-on experience with electrical subsystems, system tests, and harness design. Onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of aircraft electrical subsystems and requirements.
• Experience with electrical system architecture and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and integrate aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Analyze total aircraft electrical loads and distribution networks.
• Design robust and redundant power distribution systems.
• Perform system-level trade studies and interface with suppliers.
