Shieldai is expanding its Avionics Engineering team in Dallas, Texas, seeking an Electrical Engineer to design custom avionics systems for the X-BAT aircraft. This role includes responsibilities such as circuit design, integration, and mentoring team members in a cross-functional environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical fundamentals in electrical engineering.
• Ability to obtain a S//SAR level security clearance desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead circuit and sub-system design for X-BAT and support equipment.
• Work with mixed signal systems, including high-speed digital and analog.
• Execute environmental test and qualification campaigns.
• Lead system integration and troubleshooting efforts.
• Mentor teammates and work with cross-functional teams.
• Help automate manufacturing test solutions for production.
