NSI seeks a Senior Avionics Electrical/Electronic Engineer to support Navy Fleet Readiness Center Southeast at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role involves applying electrical engineering expertise to design, develop, test & evaluate, implement, and maintain software systems, with preference for C++, C#, and Visual Studio debugging.
Ideal candidates will understand hardware-software interaction and Software Lifecycle Management, using tools like GitHub/GitLab, TFS/Azure DevOps, or SVN.
NSI requires a Senior Avionics Electrical/Electronic Engineer to support the Navy Fleet Readiness Center Southeast at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. The Senior Avionics Electrical/Electronic Engineer will apply electrical engineering knowledge in support of the design, development, T&E, implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing software systems. Familiarity with the following software is preferred: C++; C#; ability to debug programs using Visual Studio IDE. Prefer an understanding of the interaction between hardware and software, Understanding of Software Lifecycle Management (aka CM) principles and knowledge of an SLM tool (GitHub/GitLab, TFS/Azure DevOps Server, SVN); TPS software skills including ATLAS, L200 and LASAR. Prior support of Navy systems is highly desired.

Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an ABET accredited college or university. Experience: 10 years of experience and preferably some Department of Defense experience.
Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
